French Justine Lemeteyer and Italian Daniele Benedetti win the Foil Slalom discipline at the 36th Fuerteventura Windsurf World Cup. And Sarah-Quita Offringa and Matteo Iachino win the Slalom X competition. Congratulations!

Since this year the discipline Slalom Windsurfing is split into two disciplines: in Slalom X and Foil Slalom.

Foil Slalom Results

Daniele Benedetti wins the men’s ranking after 7 eliminations (2 discards) in the Foil Slalom discipline, just ahead of Pierre Mortefon and Enrico Marotti. Justine Lemeteyer wins the women’s ranking after 12 eliminations (3 discards) in the Foil Slalom discipline ahead of Marion Mortefon and Blanca Alabau.

Slalom X Results

Sarah-Quita Offringa from Aruba wins the women’s the Slalom X discipline in Fuerteventura and is the first female Slalom X World Champion. She won all 9 of 10 eliminations at Sotavento and as we’ll won the event in Gran Canaria in July.

Italian Matteo Iachino wins the Slalom X event in Fuerteventura, but Pierre Mortefon takes the world title back home to France.
