Day 9 was the ultimate day at the PWA Gran Canaria 2024 Windsurf World Cup in Pozo Izquierdo. It was an action packed day with high wind Slalom X action and wave action. Sarah-Quita Offringa and Pierre Mortefon enjoyed competing in clear leading positions in the final elimination. Jenna Gibson secured the second place overall and Marion Mortefon defended the 3rd place just 3.4 points ahead of Justine Lemeteyer. Matteo Iachino moved up in second place overall and Maciek Rutkowski stayed on the podium in third in the men’s category.
Oda Johanne Brodholt and Marcilio Browne won the wave double elimination. They both secured a ninth place in their rankings.
